A very staple thing in perfume advertisements is that there is always the sample in the edge of the ad. Audience- This fragrance is for men, but the audience can be for women as well. A women can be very interested in the fragrance for a gift to her husband, boyfriend, father, cousin, etc. Emotion- It gives an important, very modern emotion. Nothing intriguing. Just the pure neat look. Composition and Layout- The bottle of perfume is placed right in the middle, it being the main focus. The brand name is on top of the page in gray tones. Text- The text is the name of the fragrance “L’Homme” which is french for man.Its in a gray tone and is a simple font. Kind of Image- classic advertisement for Geico insurance company. Has Geico at the bottom right corner. Lime green is the main focus, its all over the page, with a white center. Audience- The audience can vary from men to female, young to old. Anybody who is interested in purchasing a new policy with them. Emotion- Has some inside humor. Theres always a very light fun mood because of the Geico all people know. Composition and Layout- The whole background is a lime green color. The main attraction is the big middle white part, its kind of a thinking bubble with some big text. Below it theres more information. leading off to the bottom where the name Geico is. Just below that theres contact information. And just to finish off on the bottom right corner is a green geico with his little arms folded over his chest looking up in a pensive way. Text- The main text being the one in the white bubble. Big and black font. It says “Whats green and never goes out of style?” I think it has a double meaning. The meanings being that the geico and money who are both green never go out of style. Adding a bit of humor. Below it in smaller font theres a bit of information to capture the viewer a tad bit more. It says “The money you could save with GEICO. See how easy it is to save today.” Poeple love to hear “save” especially when it comes to money. So they reassure the viewer that they can save and its quickly. At the bottom of the page theres “GEICO” which is the name of the insurance and right below it is how people can contact it. Theres an internet address, a phone number, and local office. Response- There might be a minimal response because its not something purchase on an everyday basis and continuously. But it attracts people regardless and makes them consider it. |
